Strengthening access to rehabilitation in underserved communities worldwide

The Global Rehab Project is a registered not-for-profit organisation led by a group of Australian health professionals committed to improving access to rehabilitation in underserved and low-resource communities worldwide.

Many communities lack access to rehabilitation due to limited allied health services, gaps in health system infrastructure, insufficient education and health promotion, limited funding for training pathways, and a shortage of trained professionals.

We work alongside local providers to strengthen these systems through advocacy, education, and practical support — building sustainable, locally-led capacity for real, lasting impact.

Drawing on clinical experience across diverse rehabilitation settings, we understand both the impact of high-quality care — and the consequences when it is not accessible.
